When I was approached with the opportunity to build something, that started off being described as “Group Personal Training”, I couldn’t in a million years pass it up- it was right up my alley!

At this point in time, I had just completed two years at Durham College in the Fitness and Health Promotion program, and was working at a facility as a full-time group fitness instructor.

Fast forward a few months & there we had it - The Push! I am SUPER passionate about what we have going on here - I love coaching, developing different sessions, and most importantly, helping people achieve their goals & have fun while doing so.

I am EXTREMELY thankful to be part owner of something so very special, with the absolute best team & members!

Hi! I’m Donnie...

I have been the the fitness industry for many years, and this past year since opening the PUSH has definitely been my best yet.

I believe that fitness is an outlet that can be utilized by everybody, and I believe the PUSH is the perfect place to start if you are new OR advanced in fitness! We make your experience easy, comfortable, and we make sure to push you to your limits!

After many years of being involved with my family's gym, I was presented with the opportunity to be a part of The Push- the newest addition to the gym! I've always been a very active person, involved with hockey and different sports throughout the year, therefore, getting to participate in such a fun and energetic environment has been very rewarding!

After a 25+ year career as a CPA working in the corporate world, I retired from accounting to follow my true passion of health and wellness.

I am certified in both fitness and nutrition. As a hockey player and fitness competitor, I understand the need for a balance of strength training, endurance, flexibility, nutrition and overall well-being to achieve your best athletic performance.

I love that the PUSH offers a combination of the necessary components to help members in their fitness journey and love that nutrition, accountability and a full gym membership round out the offerings to ensure the success of each member. Nothing lights me up more than watching someone achieve their goals and realizing the amazing things their body is capable of.

I live by the philosophy that wellness is a lifelong journey and not a destination. So, once you near the big goal it is merely time to set a new one! I believe in making sustainable changes for long term success.

I strive to inspire the 50+ crowd that age is just a number. If you take care of your body, you can remain fit and energetic at any age!

Fitness has been a priority of mine for several years. I think it’s the ultimate way to show yourself love and respect. I know first hand how much the dedication can impact your life in so many positive ways.

As a former CrossFit member, I have always loved group fitness. I think it brings a level of accountability you don’t always get with a regular gym membership, and it encourages you to push yourself harder than you would on your own. I also know the feeling of walking into a gym and having no idea where to begin, so I love that with Push you can show up each day knowing you are going to have an excellent workout designed for you by a team of coaches.

I truly love this community so much. No matter where you are in your fitness journey, the class is always going to be a challenge for you. I love seeing our members start the program unsure of their abilities, and watching them grow and get stronger each day. I get just as excited as they do when they accomplish their first box jump, pull up, or lift a weight they didn’t think they were capable of.

My passion in life has always been to show people their full potential, to always push them past their limits and comfort zones. I have always lived my own life that way.

I love celebrating others and helping them reach their goals along the way!

I love everything fitness and am in the process of completing my personal training certificate!!! I am so honoured to be a part of this incredible community. I get to see people focus on and achieve their goals!! There is no greater feeling than seeing somebody’s accomplishments!!

I've been working out at Ultimate Fitness for almost six years and don't see any signs of stopping, especially now more than ever, after coming on board with the amazing Push Team! I'm able to further immerse myself in the gym community and culture that has been built here. We work with your group including all staff and coaches, to ensure that we are addressing the needs of your team depending on schedule, as well as other key factors including strength training, conditioning, and mobility. We can pivot on your teams needs at any given time throughout the season, depending on your goals. We specialize in team hydration and nutrition, with the ability to do individual counselling, as well as group education.
